Baptism Sunday - May 21st

Sometimes we agree to get baptized, and we are just getting wet because we don't know the meaning behind this display of faith. True baptism is us saying to God, "We accept the new birth; let me be born again." It is our amen, to the completed work on the cross, our agreement that God has transformed our lives. When we agree with God, accepting the new birth we are baptized,
- into power (Acts 1:5-8)
- into repentance (Acts 2:38)
- into Christ (Romans 6:1-3)
- into newness of life (Romans 6:4)
