Am I a Christian?

What does it truly mean to call ourselves Christians? That question cuts deeper than we might expect, and it is the heart of this powerful message. Drawing from Jesus's words in Luke 9:23 -- where he calls his followers to deny themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow him -- we are challenged to examine whether we have been skipping the first two steps and simply trying to follow without the surrender. The Last Supper scene in Matthew 26 becomes a mirror for our own spiritual lives. Around that table sat treachery, fear, doubt, and frailty -- and yet faith was also present. The same is true around the tables we gather at today. We are reminded that Christianity is not a label we wear but a life we live. It shows up in how we treat the people who have wronged us, whether we restore the fallen with gentleness rather than expose them with pride, and whether the fruit of the Spirit is evident in our daily behavior. The message calls us to honest self-examination -- not to condemn us, but to awaken us to the extraordinary life we have been invited into.
