What is Grace?
What if the greatest gift we have ever received was one we did nothing to earn, nothing to deserve, and could never repay? That is the heart of what we explore in this message on grace. Drawing from Ephesians 2:8-9, which tells us that salvation comes through faith as a gift from God and not through our own efforts, we are invited to reconsider everything we thought we knew about our standing before God. Through a vivid story of a father who pays off his children's debts and then leaves a surplus to cover every future debt they might incur, we are shown a picture of grace that is breathtaking in its scope. God did not wait for us to get our lives together. He paid the price before we even committed the act. This is not merely a theological concept. It is a living reality that reshapes how we see ourselves, how we approach God, and how we treat the people around us. Whether we have been carrying guilt from our past or quietly believing that our good behavior earns us access to God, this message challenges both extremes and calls us into a deeper, freer understanding of what it means to be loved by a God who sees everything we have done and still comes to visit us in the cool of the day.
